Jason Cole becomes Pembrokeshire Karting Champion for the second time. Realising the threat his closest rival Sam Joseph presented, Jason knew it was going to be a tough event. From the off, Cole secured three straight wins in the heat stages and stormed to victory in his Semi Final.
There was never any doubt that Jason fully intended to take the title and duly delivered on that intention with a strong second place in the final, denying Sam the opportunity to outscore him. Kieran Davies displayed a masterclass of drives to win the event and take the maximum points on offer. This allowed him to edge just ahead of Sam in the final standings. Despite missing Round 3 and experiencing some setbacks in the last event, recognition must be given to Sam Joseph for remaining a strong title contender right up to the last race. Unfortunately mechanical problems struck, forcing him to retire from what would have been an epic final.
