Sam Joseph of Swansea takes his third win at Round 4 of the Pembrokeshire Karting Championship. The series returned to the outdoor track of Carew Karting where competitors had the privilege of being amongst the first to race the venue's brand new fleet of karts. The event attracted a strong turnout of twenty seven drivers who were keen to put the new karts through their paces.

Initial predictions were difficult with many high profile names taking part in the event, though as the event progressed, Sam Joseph was able to maximise the conditions and win the A final. The returning faces of Kieran Davies (Ammanford) and Adam Richard Jones (Pembroke Dock) were second and third respectively. Lewis Thomas (Haverfordwest) who won the previous event had to settle for fourth with Matthew Rossiter (Kilgetty) and Carwyn Bowen (Efailwen) taking the remaining places.

Sam's victory has resulted in a strong 60 point lead in the main Championship. Richard Francis (Cross Hands) remains top of the Heavyweight standings with Carwyn Bowen taking the lead in the Rookie of the Year standings.

Round 5 takes the Championship back indoors to West Wales Karting in Haverfordwest on September 6 at the later time of 5pm. The last event held here proved popular with multiple drivers enjoying wins on the challenging track.
