How many races during the event?
All drivers receive:
- 4x 8 lap sprint races
- 1x 20 lap feature race
- 4x 8 lap sprint races

Format Highlights
- Lightweight & Heavyweight drivers race separate.
- Grids for sprint races are determined at random with a spread over the grid.
- Grid for the feature race is determined by total points earned from the sprints.

Cut-Through
The cut-through bypasses the middle track sector to aid overtaking. Every competitor will have 1x cut-through to use in the feature race each round only*

Drop Round
We know 8 rounds is a lot to commit to, so only a drivers best 7 rounds will count towards their championship. This means you can afford to miss a round OR disregard a bad result!
Power Round
NEW FOR 2024!
When drivers sign up on the website, they will be asked to select a 'Power Round' This round will double whatever total points they earn at that event. Note that points will be doubled AFTER the event and not whilst it is taking place.

Track Layouts
The PKC uses the standard and reverse configurations during the season and will be announced at random at the start of events*

Practice
So drivers get more races at each event, there will be no practice laps at the start of the event. Instead, drivers are encouraged to hit the track any time to get to grips with the karts and layout before taking part in a PKC event. Always check availability beforehand. Don't worry though, practice is not mandatory!

During the season we will be holding special events meaning even if you can't commit to the full season, there will always be something you can race for.

The winning drivers at the event will take home our Spring Cup,
Fastest Lap Challenge (Round 3)
The top drivers from the event have 1x flying lap to set a quick time in the same kart,
Summer Cup (Round 5)
The winning drivers at the event will take home our Summer Cup,
Charity Qualifier (Round 6)
Drivers have the opportunity to earn a place in Team PKC for the annual West Wales Karting charity tournament,
Autumn Cup (Round 7)
The winning drivers at the event will take home our Autumn Cup.

- All drivers must pay a one-off £10 entry fee on their first round - You could race in the whole season for just £290 - you won't find a competitive karting championship for cheaper! |
