14 Event Format
14.1 Grid positions for Race 1 will be determined by each competitors overall fastest lap (in Races 1-4) from the previous round they attended.
14.2 Grid positions for Race 2, 3 and 4 will be determined by each competitors fastest lap from the previous race.
14.3 Grid positions for Race 5 will be determined by the total number of points earned up to that point by each competitor.
14.4 In the event of a tie when deciding grid positions, position will be awarded to the competitor with the fastest overall lap up to that point. If still tied, it will be decided by a coin toss.
14.5 Starting positions for Race 1 at Round 1 will be decided at random.
14.6 If a weight class has a high number of competitors in attendance that exceeds the maximum number of karts allowed on the track, those competitors will be split into 'quicker' and 'slower' groups determined by their fastest laps. The quicker group will be able to receive more points in a race. However competitors can move between each group as an event progresses depending on their fastest lap times.
14.7 Competitors of each weight class will race separately from each other. The only exception to this rule will be where there are very low attendances. Should this happen the two smaller weight classes in attendance will be grouped together, but still scored independently from each other.
15 Weight
15.1 Competitors must be weighed wearing or holding a race suit and helmet.
15.2 Lightweight Weight: To be declared after weigh-in at Round 1
Heavyweight Weight: To be declared after weigh in at Round 1

16.4 If a competitor chooses not to finish a race, they will receive 0 points.
16.5 If competitors are in split groups, the faster group score the higher points. The winner of a race in the slower group will score the next points down in the sequence behind the last placed person in the group above them.
Working example for events where drivers exceed the max grid size of 10 drivers:
Faster group, 1st place gets 30 points, 2nd gets 29 points and so on to 10th place who gets 21 points.
Slower group, winner is classified as 11th place and gets 20 points, second place is classified as 12th place and gets 19 points and so on...
16.6 If competitors are tied on points at the end of an event or championship, the position will be awarded to the competitor with the better finishing record in the event/championship. If still tied, it will go to the fastest lap in the event/championship.
17 Cut-Through
17.1 The cut-through will be positioned on the back straight and will allow competitors to bypass the middle sector of the track.
17.2 Each competitor will have 1x cut-through to use at each round but can only use it (if they wish) during the Race 5 feature race.
17.3 By using the cut-through, competitors can gain track advantage and points associated with that position.
17.4 The resulting fastest lap time from using a cut-through will not be used in determining any race starting positions.
17.5 Competitors must use the cut-through safely and responsibly or risk a penalty.
