Keeping us covid safe
The coronavirus pandemic is an on-going and evolving situation. Guidance and restrictions are changing all the time. We have been working hard with the team at West Wales Karting to ensure we can and will do everything possible to keep our competitors, staff and spectators safe when attending our events.
West Wales Karting is a member of the National Karting Association (NKA) and can draw on a wealth of information and resources to help define their response to the virus.
As such, here are some of the measures that will be in place at our events:
1. Signing in at the track will now be done digitally.
2. Face coverings must be worn inside the reception area.
3. We encourage you to bring your own race wear (helmet, overalls, gloves, balaclavas etc.) but these will still be available from the track and thoroughly cleaned before issue in line with covid regulations set out by the NKA. If using WWK helmets, balaclavas are mandatory.
4. If you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 or feel unwell before the event, you MUST NOT attend.
These measures may change again depending on how restrictions change.
